It ain’t over until the skinny lady sings

Health coaches Echo and Carla Fay are offering two FREE concerts. The first concert is February 20th and the second is February 27th; both from 4:00 to 5:00 pm in my Southwest Fort Worth Home.

Both “concerts” are actually preparation for our April gig in Granbury for the Opera Guild. You may not be a member of the Opera Guild of Granbury but since you are part of our coveted inner circle of good looking and brilliant friends you are invited to join us for one hour of: singing followed by a short Take Shape For Life presentation and Medifast food tasting.

For a list of the songs see this post – Concert in Granbury…

Please RSVP as my studio has limited seating with no upper gallery.

WordPress 101 with Paula Hill

Fun-Filled Class

January 28th, 2011 I attended a fabulous class with Paula Hill.  This picture of Paula with Toni Allison & Janeen Saffle was taken at our Celebration for our 24 years of medical service to the Fort Worth Community. The WordPress Class was offered through Knowledge for Success and was at the La Mancha Business Centre.  The class was full of fun and great information.  I’m so smart now that I don’t need Paula’s assistance any longer.  (just kidding)

Concert in Granbury-POSTPONED due to Inclement Weather

Preparing for Performance . .

Echo Wilson, pianist extraordinaire, and I will have the pleasure of performing at the Monthly Meeting for the Opera Guild of Granbury on Tuesday, April 5th, 2011.  The program includes 3 opera arias, 2 songs from Broadway Musicals and 1 Progressive Country Song.  The opera arias include “Hello, Oh, Margaret it’s you” from Menotti’s opera buffa in one act The Telephone, Deh vieni, non tardar from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and “I have dreamt” from Wuthering Heights an opera by Bernard Hermann.  We believe that our program will be well received.  Although the name of the guild is Opera Guild of Granbury they rarely have programs that include opera.  The concert will take place at the DeCordova Bend Clubhouse in Granbury. I’m especially looking forward to singing Lucy’s aria from The Telephone because I have my red dial telephone now.

While shopping in the new Sprouts in Fort Worth, I ran into a wonderful friend, Ann Wardlaw, who just happened to have the perfect Red-Old-Style-Dial-Phone. It is the perfect prop. Thank you Ann.
